About SMTdesign

History

The architectural firm Salling-Mortensens Tegnestue was founded in 1933.

In 1984, this firm established SMTdesign as an independent company responsible for furniture assignments and industrial design.

During the past 25 years, SMTdesign has developed and designed products, primarily for Danish production businesses.

The portfolio consists of products for hospitals, public and private laboratories, care of senior citizens, nursing homes and institutions, but also includes stoves, products for leisure and auxiliary equipment etc.

The products developed and designed by us have been very successful. Today our products are in use not only in Denmark but also in Europe, USA and Japan.
